TV fare that is even remotely acceptable for people of moral fibre is rare today. Thus many have enjoyed the first season of BBC’s Sherlock, a modern retelling of the classic Sherlock Holmes story where Sherlock uses a Blackberry and can have his incisive powers of observation played back in slow-mo to demonstrate how he arrives at his uncannily accurate conclusions.

In a major disappointment, however, the show in its long anticipated second season, which aired New Year’s Day in England, has chosen to employ nudity, and in consequence has lost a multitude of fans.  Despite over 500 complaints, the show is refusing to cut any of the smut. So here’s a warning to all those who enjoyed the first season – don’t bother with the next.
