PRO-LIFE LEGISLATION IS NOT A LOW PRIORITY ON PRESIDENT BUSH'S AGENDA

"The President believes that we need to be a culture that welcomes life at all stages."

WASHINGTON, November 15, 2002 (LifeSiteNews.com) - During the usual verbal jousting at the White House daily press briefing this week, a reporter asked about the administration's plans for pro-life legislation. White House Deputy Press Secretary Scott McClellan responded to the question evasively, speaking about homeland security and terrorism as the current priorities.

However when the reporter then followed with "Is it fair to say this (pro-life legislation) is low on this priority list?" McClellan responded in the Negative. "No, no... The President believes that we need to be a culture that welcomes life at all stages," said McClellan.
