CANADIAN ASSISTED REPRODUCTION BILL PUT ON HOLD

OTTAWA, February 17, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Canadian Assisted Reproduction legislation Bill C-13 has been put on hold till after the March break say political analysts. The budget which is currently being debated will likely not allow for further debate and passage of Bill C-13 until after the March break.

When MPs return on March 17, amendments to the bill will continue receiving debate. Pro-lifers are especially interested in the group 2 amendments which mitigate the evils of the bill.

Campaign Life Coalition is urging pro-life, pro-family Canadians to take advantage of this delay to further lobby Members of Parliament on the issue. For a brief, easy-to-understand summary of the problems with the bill see the Stop Bill C-13 flyer at the link below. The flyer is available in different sizes and in black and white or colour and may be printed out and distributed or published in any publication.
