Canadian Pro-Marriage Group Ramps Up Election Strategy With VoteMarriageCanada Website
By Steve Jalsevac
London, ON December 9, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The coalition comprising the ProMarriage Network has just stepped up its federal election efforts with the launch of a VoteMarriageCanada website.
The development follows the announcement by MP Pat O’Brien and former MP Dr. Grant Hill on Nov. 22 of the formal launch of a national campaign to elect a pro-traditional marriage Parliament during the next election. The key goal of the campaign, they stated, is to elect a parliament which will restore the traditional definition of marriage as "the union of one man and one woman to the exclusion of all others".
The latest website, http://www.votemarriagecanada.ca/canada, invites Canadians to participate in the marriage campaign and provides articles, links to MP voting records and contact information, and invites them to sign up to receive updates on the campaign. Viewers are also encouraged to enter the email addresses of others who they believe would be interested in receiving information about the pro marriage election effort.
A link to the related Pro Marriage Network website, http://www.promarriage.ca , provides access to a marriage election developments newsletter and a detailed volunteer application form
The group is urging pro traditional marriage Canadians to join with them to help elect a pro-traditional marriage Parliament.
