How Canadian Senators Voted on Gay 'Marriage'
OTTAWA, July 22, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Voting in favour of the homosexual 'marriage' bill C-38 on final reading Tuesday night were 47 Senators including the following Liberal Senators:

The Liberals were joined by a handful of Progressive Conservative (PC) and Conservative 'C' Senators as well as an NDP and a couple of independent Senators:

Spivak (Ind)
Most Conservative Senators voted against the bill including Senators:

A handful of Liberal Senators and one Independent Senator voted against the legislation including Senators:

Abstentions from the vote were listed as coming from Senators:
Corbin (Liberal) Moore (Liberal)
LeBreton (Conservative)
In Hansard, Senator Moore is listed as saying he would have voted against the bill however he was abstaining to pair a vote for another Senator who supported the legislation but could not attend the vote.
